Yes, i like Vittorio and i agree whit is concept of hope.. it reminds me when someone is going to do a text in university: i say him the same questions (have you studied hard? Have you done everything you can?).

About the spirit of work in a team i agree whit Marco and Max, is the base. Self confidence is important, but i think also humility is a key concept of a good person in every sphere of the life
Good morning everybody!

I have read Vittorio Viarengo's article. I really appreciated that point of view . It's full of controll, power, strategy and pianification.. Specially I think that is very important in team work ..because there are many relationship issues and if a team is well organised with specific role and prepared persons it could positively develope.. I mean without contrasts between partecipants..

Although that, in my point of view is also important to be adaptive and to be flexible to suddenly events.. I mean be flexible doesn't mean not be organised, but it could be an open minded approach to face with suddenly and umpredictable working problems without reducing to hope..
As Andrea said humility and, if I can add another point, also sharing knowledge with the others could be a strengh point in team work, because every person can improve his preparation and be better qualified for a particoular duty..

Have a nice day!:-)
Roberta, "Brava!" for the article on Il Corriere di Novara!
Thank you very much.. :-)
You're right, Roberta!
While reading Vittorio's article, I was thinking the same words you've already written.
In fact, during my work experiences (primarly as a teacher in a professional school), I had to face completely unpredictable issues and many situations requiring high flexiblity. In that enviroment plans were changing almost on a daily basis, and managing relationships was hard because my colleagues and students had troubles in understanding each other.
As you say, it is necessary to avoid contrasts, and we need great flexibility on plans to do this.
This because it's not always easy, and sometimes it doesn't completely depend on us.
I did this little introduction to add a little thought.
I believe that, to completely avoid "hope" in the strict sense and "plan" our work/future/relationship, it is useful to be able, sometimes, to stop "calculating" and starting understanding others working differently. When all depends on us, it's right, we have to face ourselves just like we're looking into a mirror, but when others are involved, we should think of us as a whole, with all its consequences. Therefore, planning becomes easier, more flexible and, I believe, more efficient, when everyone understands each other...without too many calculations. :)

Anyway, I also am a "percentages" man, planning everything in details, but experiences taught me to be adaptive. In that situations, percentages have little role.

bye! :)
I do appreciate very much Vittorio Viarengo's point of view, his articles are very inspiring.

I agree with you Roberta, I think that sharing knowledge is basic in every kind of job and that it's essential to build the future of an activity: teaching, sharing informations or, in a word, investing in young or new colleagues, in my opinion, should always be considered a priority in the to-do list (and I'm sure that this frequently doesn't happen).
HI GUYS!!!!!WE'RE GOING ON WITH RIGHT STEPS!!!I'm very happy! The "old economy" (before the depression) is dead! We must restart from innovative ideas, but mostly from young people! Manager and companies must believe in us and in our ideas; we must revolutionize the old economic way of thinking. I really hope that fyp forum can be a way to try to bring closer managers to students for growing together! I'm convinced that we can give to them an important help! Unfortunately sometimes, maybe often, in Italy young people without experience are seen like a waste of time from companies; I'm sure that only with a right balanced between us (students, young workers) and older managers we'll be able to overcome the depression!!!! The establishment forgot how does work in team mean!! Go on that direction: share, communicate, LISTEN, discuss and appreciate people!!
Hi!

I hope there'd be more support for the IT community in the Philippines, but there's not. Would be awesome to participate in an international conference.
Hi guys,
hope everything is going well with your projects.
I would like to let you know that I managed to organize something similar to the Conferences that have been placed in Novara last month, in Bocconi!
Next Wednesday (the 28th) from 8,45 to 12,00 am in Bocconi (room N35) inside the master course in "Managing in the 2.0 landscape" by prof. Proserpio there will be 5 presentations of 5 different business ideas/start ups.
Among them we will have Nicolò Borghi with The Hub, Emanuele Pierpaoli with Horticultural Knowledge and Matteo Fabbri with Phascode. 3 guys that you all know very well :)
I hope it will be an exciting experience for all the students as it was for me in Novara and I have to say thank you to Paolo and the prof. Rabellotti that allowed me to getting in touch with them and their entusiasm.

Of course, the lesson is open to anybody who wants to come.

Thank you,

Giulia
very very good Giulia...I try to be present if not at the beginning, I'd like to meet prof Proserpio , thks
Very interesting Giulia! I'll be there for sure on Wednesday :)

Andrea, of course i'll take notes and share them on FYP: I'm sure there will be many topics that might be discussed here and during our meetings.
Just a detail: room is the number 35 (third floor via Sarfatti 25) and not room N35 (that is in another Bocconi building)
