Cristina Polesel has been the General Manager for the Monterey Bay International Trade Association (MBITA) (http://www.mbita.org) in Santa Cruz, California, since June 1998. MBITA is a non-profit organization dedicated to provide trade promotion services to the California, U.S. and foreign country business communities. MBITA utilizes advanced Global eCommerce technologies for its clients and members to maximize global trade opportunities.
Prior to her job at MBITA, Cristina has worked for many years for I. Barbon srl Forwarding Shipping Agents in Venice, Italy where she assisted small businesses in their import/export operations.
Cristina has a 'Dottore' in Foreign Modern Languages from the University of Venice, Italy, her hometown.

I look forward to meeting with you in August in Santa Cruz. I am interested in discussing the program of the Silicon Valley Study Tour you are conducting. Just a quick curiosity....why everybody in this site that is Italian writes in English?? Also, do you have a direct email that I can write you to communicate with you prior to your arrival in August? I am trying to get used to these social networks but I get better time management in my direct email!
