Hi Jacob!
Sorry for answering you so late!Question is...I'm not going to do an internship this semester. This is what I would have loved doing, but I wasn't able to find anything, as it is difficult for social sciences' students to find such an opportunity from abroad.
I'm actually going to Berkeley through an exchange between the University of Bologna and of California. I have to sit some exams and I want to write my thesis (security and privacy at customs). If you'd wish having a tour in Berkeley to look for something suitable, I could absolutely help you. I think we're going to meet in Berkeley anyway as I'm joining the tour on the day you'll be there.
See you!

Ciao Jacob,

Good to meet you.
Sorry for this latish reply, I am still moving in here, and things are running pretty hectic...

Back to your question: I believe your field of research is quite an interesting one: in fact, Stanford University has a program called "Science of Management" where business is studied with a more rigorous and quantitative approach.

I will try and look around for opportunities linked to your work.
Please, feel free to send me more documentation on it at the address enzo.carrone@gmail.com

In bocca al lupo!

Enzo.

Hi Jacob,
yes indeed I remember you. I am not sure what you are looking if I remember correctly you were coming from a marketing/economic/social background and with that analyzing ICT and not the other way around. Unfortunately in Silicon Valley it is usually the other way around, but don't give up just because of that. Unfortunately I dont have many contacts, can you be more precise on what you are looking for? Department? Technology?
If I didn't correctly remember what you do and it's from ICT towards economics let me know in that case I might have something for you.

-Claudio
