Leaving California
I do not agree totally, I find California less expensive than Italy and Europe in many sectors ( food, dress, fuel...)also due to a good change rate, but I totally agree about the unique feeling to be there!

I'm co-founder and software architect of HDDSVision (www.hddsvision.it); a start-up company developing the next digital signage solution. We provide an hardware player, linux o.s. (administred by web page), and a player written in C++/Qt4. We provide a SDK to developers and an open-source CMS (HDDDSVision Stand Director)
My interests are also developing embedded linux solutions and web 2.0 applications.
What's the goal of this project for start-ups and young developers/entrepreneurs? There are conferences soon?

I'm waiting for the next conference because i think is quite difficult to start a discussion about the first one, for the fact that, except to appreciate that we can be a part of this huge project, there is no big argument to talk about. I look forward to discuss about the next conference!!
