"ICT channels in Italy: suppliers become partners", a publication promoted by the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano and Smau, is a new qualified tool offering valuable information and know-how both to
SMEs as
ICT end-users and
ICT product and service vendors. The aim of this publication is to stimulate a
"cultural change" both in the attitude of SMEs towards ICT and in the way ICT vendors traditionally present their offerings with a view to filling the gap between ICT potential and actual benefits.
Through its objective and pragmatic information on the importance of various technologies and solutions for businesses, a large number of case histories and a managerial style and language far away from the technical jargon, "Partners4ICT" represents an authoritative and unbiased reference book for firms and ICT vendors wishing to gain a better understanding on how ICT can really affect business. After its first edition, launched at Smau 2007, second edition will be presented during Smau Milan 2008.
