START CUP MILANO LOMBARDIA

The business plan competition that supports

high-tech start ups

If you have a good entrepreneurial idea already drafted in a business plan, send it immediately to us and join our BUSINESS PLAN COMPETITION 2008.

A jury made of entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and academics, will judge how original your idea is and if it is marketable.

You can win money prizes – 10,000/7,000 /5,000 Euros – and will have the opportunity to enter one of the incubators of the organizing universities, which offer services and incentives to support the birth and the development of your company.

The five winners will be awarded on June 26th during an open ceremony which will be hosted by the Bocconi University and they will participate to the “Premio Nazionale per l’Innovazione”, the grand final of the 17 Italian Start Cups that will be awarded with the 60,000 Euros “First Prize Vodafone”, the 30,000 and 20,000 euros prizes.

The Start Cup Milano Lombardia awards three Special Prizes: “Energy, determination and curiosity. Accenture special prize for the youngest entrepreneurial idea”(Accenture); “Innovation incubators. The Silicon Valley Study Tour prize between Italy and the United States” (Acceleratore d’Impresa del Politecnico di Milano); “Creativity, Innovation and Territory. Special prize to the best entrepreneurial idea in the Lecco area” (Univerlecco).

The Start Cup Milano Lombardia is promoted by: Politecnico di Milano, Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Università Commerciale Luigi Bocconi, Università degli Studi di Milano, Università degli Studi Milano-Bicocca, Libera Università di Lingue e Comunicazione IULM, Università Carlo Cattaneo LIUC, Università degli Studi di Pavia.
