internship opportunity in Silicon Valley startup
Visible Energy of Palo Alto is hiring an intern for 3-4 months this summer to work on software development for our energy management portal, including front-ends for iPhone and iPad. Our first iPad application became available on the App Store earlier this week and we are preparing to ship our home energy management products later this year.
We are looking for an exceptional engineering talent with a wide range of skills including: Ruby on Rails, Javascript/JSON, jQuery, HTML5. Ability to work independently and under little supervision, together with a strong understanding of networking technologies is required. Previous experience with RoR and/or iOS is highly desirable.
Visible Energy is funded by its founders and angel investors and we don’t have any venture capitalists running the show behind the scenes. We are 2 years old and preparing to ship products to customer. Our intent is to build a solid business with excellent perspectives and possibly learning and having fun doing it. Not an experience for the faint of heart.
