Hi all,

today i'll talk to you about my friend's project. His name is Flavio Fazio, from Sicily, he is a young guy who had an idea, and now he is trying to make a startup. He create his platform: Flazio.com , a Visual CMS which helps people in their website's creation. This project was born on 2008 and now(as himself said) is ready to start. His idea is really brilliant and now he's searching for funds, next week he will fly to Milan trying to find a VC.

Here is some description of his idea:

"One of the biggest problem we are trying to solve is the incapability of many internet users who don't know how to manage their websites, just because of their less knowledge in this field. Our product is the solution to this problem. We allow our users to create and manage their own personal website without any technical approach.

With Flazio everybody can build his own website, easily, in few minutes and for free. Note that flazio is not a sitebuilder, is a network and a platform, because the flazio websites can be interconnected each other, and the components that people use to built their website, can be developed by other external programmers.

Our system is the right tool for those who want to join into the world of the Internet.
Flazio allow everybody to create a web space in few minutes, personalize it, insert personal content, insert advertising and have revenue. Flazio help people to connect each other, but not inside a social network, just on the web, is also a cross website social network. Why someone should have a profile if can have a personal website, that can also give revenue?

Our project is a Visual CMS(Content Management System) which allows our users to create and setup their website,profile or a simple web page easily and simply. You can create your web page just using only graphical tools(you don't need to know programming languages or other technical stuffs). You have just to choose wich components(texts, maps, forms, images, videos, etc) to add to your page and put them inside your managing window. You can create your website as a puzzle composed by whatever you want. With the release of Flazio API, developers can build components and introduce them into the CompStore, and can choose if people can use the comp for free or for few euros.

Everyone can register himself to our website and start creating his website. Registration is free for all users and they will have their URL like this www.yourname.flazio.com. After the registration process, your website will be already online, you have only to add and modify what you need. After registration you will be able to access to your Administration Area to personalize your website, everything without looking at generated code."
